Arrival at Leh airport, & leave for Sham Valley passing through some scenic villages along the Indus River. Upon arrival, check in to your reserved accommodation for a complete day of rest. O/N Sham Valley.
After breakfast, leave for Kargil, by visiting Dah Hanu Village They have an Indo-European appearance in contrast to the predominant Tibet-Mongol inhabitants of most of Ladakh . Arrive at Kargil by afternoon, post-lunch drive to Drass, known as 2 nd Coldest inhabited place on earth, here visit the Drass War Memorial Hall, dedicated to Indian soldiers who fought during the Kargil war, drive back to Kargil. After breakfast, drive to Rangdum (Zanskar), along with Suru Valley, on the way, visit Karsekar village to see the giant rock- carved Buddha (960 AD), & stop over at Panikhar to have a view of Nun Kun peaks, the highest Peaks of Zangskar valley. Arrival at Rangdum, later visit the 200 old Rangdum Monastory. Later drive towards Padum via Penzi La pass at 14,436 ft, enjoy magnificent views of Drang Drung Glacier, considered to be one of the biggest glaciers in India, arrival at Padum, free time at leisure & rest. O/N Padum.
Today visit Sani Gompa & Lake & Karsha, Stongdey Gompa. Later day at leisure in Padum. O/N Padum.
After breakfast, drive towards Lungna Valley in Zanskar. On the way, visit Barden Monastery and other villages. Reach Khangsar Purni and spend the night at Tara Mountain Sarai in Khangsar. O/N Khangsar
This is the most memorable day of your entire tour. You will hike to Phukthal Monastery, the oldest and most beautiful monastery. Spend some time at the monastery with the monks and hike back to your camp. O/N Khangsar
Today you will drive back towards Leh via the same route and spend the night at a local homestay in Lingshed village. O/N Lingshed.
Morning visit Lingshed Monastery and continue driving on the same route to Leh. At arrival, check into the reserved accommodation. Rest day at leisure. O/N Leh
After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla pass (2 nd Highest Motorable road in the world, 18,380 ft). You can take short breaks at roadside cafes & scenic points for photography. En route, enjoy adventure activities like ATV bike ride / Go karting / rafting. Arrival at your reserved hotel/camp. Post lunch, leave for Sand Dunes, enjoy a camel safari (double humped camel, which is found only in Ladakh & Mongolia) at the Sand Dunes between Deskit & Hundur Village. O/N Nubra Valley
After breakfast, drive to Turtuk (first time opened for tourists since 2010). This village was captured by the Indian Army in the 1971 from Pakistan, visit Tyakshi (the border that divides India and Pakistan) O/N Nubra Valley.
After breakfast, drive to Siachen Base Camp (till permit) en route visit hot springs at Panamik & Samstanling Monastery. O/N Sumur.
After breakfast, leave for Pangong Lake 14,500 ft, a drive of 6 – 7 hours. Arrival at Camp, later free time at leisure and enjoy the color-changing lake and the sunset on the banks of lake. O/N Pangong Lake.
Morning after breakfast, leave for a beautiful drive to Hanle, on the way, cross Chushul Village and Tsaga La (15,200 ft), Hanle, is home to the Indian Astronomical Observatory one of the highest observatory in the world known for star gazing. As per history, it is believed that King Singge Namgyal died here at Hanle while on his return from an expedition on Mongols. Enjoy the stay with locals at a local guest house/homestay. O/N Hanle
Morning after breakfast, drive to Tsomoriri Lake, cross Nyoma village & Mahe Bridge. Arrival at Korzok village by late noon. Evening is at your disposal to walk around the lake and enjoy the scenic beauty. O/N Korzok
Morning after breakfast, leave for Leh via Puga (Sulphur Mine) and Polakongka pass 15892 ft, Tsokar Lake and Taklang La Pass 17,585ft, 2 nd Highest motorable road in the world. Arrival at Leh by late evening. O/N Leh
After breakfast, leave for Leh city half-day tour, to visit the Spituk Gompa, Shanti Stupa, Hall of Fame Museum, Leh Palace, enjoy the day at Leisure & rest. O/N Leh.
Morning transfer to Leh airport to board flight back to destination. Journey Ends.
