Tour Plans
Day 1
Leh to Sham Valley
Arrival at Leh airport, & leave for Sham Valley passing through some scenic villages along the Indus River. Upon arrival, check in
to your reserved accommodation for a complete day of rest. O/N Sham Valley
Day 2
Sham Valley – Lamayuru – Kargil – Drass – Kargil
After breakfast, leave for Kargil, en-route visit the view of the moon-like landscape, Lamayuru & the Giant Maitreya at Mulbekh.
Arrive at Kargil by afternoon, post-lunch drive to Drass, known as 2 nd Coldest inhabited place on earth, here visit the Drass War
Memorial Hall, dedicated to Indian soldiers who fought during the Kargil war, drive back to Kargil. With enroute visit to
Hundurman. O/N Kargil.
Day 3
Kargil – Leh via Batalik & Dha village
After breakfast, drive to Leh, via Batalik, one of the most famous war front zones fought by the Indian soldiers in 1999 with
Pakistan, drive towards Dha Hanu villages. The people who inhabit this area are considered the last of the Indo Aryan race, not
only is their attire highly decorated with jewelry and flowers, but their features are also quite distinct. En route, visit Alchi Gompa,
Magnetic Hill & Pathar Sahib Gurudwara. O/N Leh.
Day 4
Leh – Nubra Valley
After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla pass (2 nd Highest Motorable road in the world, 18,380 ft). You can take short
breaks at roadside cafes & scenic points for photography. En route, enjoy adventure activities like ATV bike ride / Go karting /
rafting. Arrival at your reserved hotel/camp. Post lunch, leave for Sand Dunes, enjoy a camel safari (double humped camel, which
is found only in Ladakh & Mongolia) at the Sand Dunes between Deskit & Hundur Village. O/N Nubra Valley
Day 5
Nubra – Turtuk – Nubra
After breakfast, drive to Turtuk (first time opened for tourists since 2010). This village was captured by the Indian Army in the 1971
from Pakistan, visit Tyakshi (the border that divides India and Pakistan) O/N Nubra Valley.
Day 6
Nubra – Pangong Lake via Shyok river road
After breakfast, leave for Pangong Lake 14,500 ft, a drive of 6 – 7 hours. Arrival at Camp, later free time at leisure and enjoy the
color-changing lake and the sunset on the banks of lake. O/N Pangong Lake.
Day 7
Pangong Lake – Hanle via Tsaga La
Morning after breakfast, leave for a beautiful drive to Hanle, on the way, cross Chushul Village and Tsaga La (15,200 ft), Hanle, is
home to the Indian Astronomical Observatory one of the highest observatory in the world known for star gazing. As per history, it
is believed that King Singge Namgyal died here at Hanle while on his return from an expedition on Mongols. Enjoy the stay with
locals at a local guest house/homestay. O/N Hanle
Day 8
Hanle – Tsomoriri via Mahe Bridge
Morning after breakfast, drive to Tsomoriri Lake, cross Nyoma village & Mahe Bridge. Arrival at Korzok village by late noon.
Evening is at your disposal to walk around the lake and enjoy the scenic beauty. O/N Korzok
Day 9
Tsomoriri – Tsokar – Taglangla – Leh
Morning after breakfast, leave for Leh via Puga (Sulphur Mine) and Polakongka pass 15892 ft, Tsokar Lake and Taklang La Pass
17,585ft, 2 nd Highest motorable road in the world. Arrival at Leh by late evening. O/N Leh
Day 10
Leh – City tour
After breakfast, leave for Leh city half-day tour, to visit the Spituk Gompa, Shanti Stupa, Hall of Fame Museum, Leh Palace, enjoy
the day at Leisure & rest. O/N Leh.
Day 11
Leh
Morning, transfer to Leh airport to board a flight back to your destination. Journey Ends.
